James Taylor anchored England‘s innings, with a measured 101, in the third One-Day International (ODI) against Australia which keeps them in the hunt for a series victory in the five-match affair, after losing the first two. This was Taylor’s maiden ODI hundred and the diminutive cricketer said he was ‘delighted’ with the knock, more so because it came in a match-winning situation. “Yeah, delighted (with the hundred) and most importantly in match winning situation. We got the side to a total we knew we could defend on a tricky wicket, the special thing about it (the team performance) was that we were under the pump, we knew it was a must-win game and we performed when we needed to,” Taylor told ecb.co.uk. He said that the tricky was difficult to bat on early.
