Veteran Indian medium-pacer Jhulan Goswami has announced her retirement from international T2o cricket. Goswami, who made her debut 12 years ago in Derby where she took 2/14, went on to play 68 T20Is for India in which she picked up 56 wickets.

The game against Bangladesh women in June earlier this year was the last time Jhulan was to play a T20I game. She went wicketless in that match.

Goswami, 35, holds the distinction of being the first female cricketer to take 200 wickets in ODIs. In May, she surpassed Cathryn Fitzpatrick to become the highest wicket-taker in women’s ODI history.
