Victoria Bushrangers all-rounder Marcus Stoinis achieved the rare feat of hitting six sixes in an over during a domestic match in Brisbane. Playing for Australia’s National Performance Squad (NPS) in a 50-over match against the National Indigenous Squad (NIS) at the Allan Border Field, Stoinis hit part-time medium-pacer Brendan Smith in the arc between long on and midwicket.

Stoinis’ sixes went almost like the hand of a clock: the first six was way over midwicket, the next closer to cow corner, the third to cow corner, and the fourth, fifth, and sixth over long on! As for Smith, he never once mixed it up, bowling innocuous medium-pacers on a length despite being massacred.
