Indian batsman Virender Sehwag cracked his first century in more than two years as India came up with a solid batting display to take control of the first Test against England.

A relieved Sehwag said it was not easy to hit the boundaries.

It took 23 months and 30 innings for Virender Sehwag to bring up his 23rd Test hundred.

The Delhi opener feels the wicket is very slow and patience is the key to success on this pitch.
