Indian batting legend Tendulkar completed his 80th First-Class century playing for Mumbai in theRanji Trophy quarter-final tie against Baroda.
 
Tendulkar’s unbeaten 219-run partnership with Wasim Jaffer for the third wicket helped Mumbai reach 254 for the loss of two wickets. Jaffer is unbeaten on 129 runs.
 
The century is also Tendulkar’s 18th in Ranji Trophy. The Master Blaster is one century short of the Indian record for most number of  First-Class centuries, held by Sunil Gavaskar (81).
