West Indies women‘s skipper Merissa Aguilleira speaks to CA TV following her side’s 8-run defeat to Australia in the ICC World T20 2014 in Bangladesh.

The West Indies women despite restricting Australia to a modest total of 140 managed to rack up only 132 for 4 in their stipulated 20 overs thanks to some tight bowling by the Aussies.

Requiring 14 runs off the last over to win the game at the Sher-e-Bangla Stadium, the West Indies could only manage six runs, while losing the wicket of their captain Merissa Aguilleira for six.

The West Indies have now fallen at the semi-final stage of the tournament for the third successive T20 World Cup.

Earlier, Australia notched up 140 for five, with opener Elyse Villani hitting 35 and Alyssa Healy an unbeaten 30.
