The Sandeep Patil-led panel announced the Indian squad for the first two Tests against England on Monday.

Yuvraj Singh and Harbhajan Singh have returned to the Indian Test fold after a long time. While Yuvraj played his last Test in November last tear, Harbhajan donned the Indian whites last in August 2011. Murali Vijay was another surprise inclusion ahead of Abhinav Mukund and Shikhar Dhawan for the opener's slot. Suresh Raina had to face the axe, while Manoj Tiwary was again conveniently ignored. However, Subramaniam Badrinath's axing from the squad didn't come as a surprise.
