Sanju Samson had a good time at Maharashtra Cricket Association (MCA) Stadium on Tuesday night. Playing in match 9 of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2017, Samson scored his maiden century in the shortest format, helping Delhi Daredevils (DD) hammer Rising Pune Supergiant (RPS) by 97 runs. This, in fact, was the first time in IPL that all dismissals were caught. From captain Zaheer Khan to spin spearhead Amit Mishra, the entire DD bowling unit stepped up and produced catches off Supergiant’s bats. If anything, DD put up a clinical show and played well as a cohesive unit, notching up their first win in the 10th edition. Well, let us walk through the top highlights. Full Cricket Scorecard, Rising Pune Supergiant vs Delhi Daredevils, IPL 2017, Match 9
Morris goes berserk: The orbit, I tell you, is bored seeing the ball travel towards it. And the audience, I am sure, is tired of reading ‘into the orbit’ on the screen. Chris Morris, for that matter, is to be blamed. He made us see an encore of this episode. In his 9-ball 38, he hit 3 stunning sixes that must have made the spectators spot the ball in the blinding flood lights. In fact, DD scored 76 runs in the last 4 overs.
Samson thanks Rahul Dravid: Samson, after his match-winning knock, thanked his mentor Dravid for the support, during the post-match presentation.

Zaheer gets better with age: Zaheer started off the second innings with two important wickets of openers Ajinkya Rahane and Mayank Agarwal. He then dismissed tail-ender Deepek Chahar with a fierce bouncer.
Zaheer Khan seems to be getting better with age, just like old wine. Once a legend, always a legend.#RPSvDD #IPL #IPL2017

Mishra nearly takes his fourth hat-trick: Mishra already has three hat-tricks in IPL. Well, he had taken consecutive wickets and was on the verge of taking another one. Thank goodness that the third delivery would have gone down the leg-side when Mishra appealed for an lbw.
Zaheer gives a mouthful to Chahar: When Zaheer dismissed Chahar, he had a few words with him. Whether they had gotten in a tussle before or Zaheer said it in the heat of moment, was difficult to decipher. Chahar, who once looked up to Zaheer, did not chin up to face Zaheer. He instead kept his head down and gentlemanly walked off the field with a smile on his face.
