Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) edged past Rising Pune Supergiants (RPS) by 4 runs in a low-scoring IPL 2016 match at Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Stadium in Visakhapatnam, on Tuesday night. Chasing a paltry 138 on a tricky wicket, the game went on till the last ball. Needing 5 off 1, Adam Zampa’s bat found an outside edge but Naman Ojha took a splendid catch to spare us all from a Super-Over contest. Earlier in the game, Zampa created history by registering the first five-wicket haul in this IPL — the 15th overall. He took 6 for 19. Let’s take a look at the highlights of the Rising Pune Supergiants (RPS) vs Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) game: Full Cricket Scorecard: Rising Pune Supergiants vs Sunrisers Hyderabad, IPL 2016 Match 40 at Visakhapatnam

David Warner’s rare failure: With the bat and with his inspirational captaincy skills, David Warner has surely made a strong mark in this IPL season with the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). However, the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) captain had a poor outing with the bat, as he struggled with timing and middling the ball. Warner, who has been smashing the bowlers around the park with ease, could gather only 11 off 14 balls. The highlight of Warner’s innings was a six which he carved out over extra cover, but it always looked like he would fall cheaply tonight.

Shikhar Dhawan and Kane Williamson step up: With Warner falling at a paltry total, it was imperative that Dhawan and Williamson take the matters in their hands. Both the batsmen braved probing spells from Rising Pune Supergiants (RPS) bowlers — especially Ravichandran Ashwin — who created far too many issues for the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) batsmen. Ashwin, for a change, got full quota and he impressed with vicious turn troubling the right-hander Williamson as well as the Southpaw duo of Dhawan and Yuvraj Singh.

Adam Zampa creates history: The right-handed Australian leg-spinner registered the first five-wicket haul of this IPL, as he returned with the magical figures of 4-0-19-6. Zampa bowled with tremendous control as the case with him is, but it was tad surprising to see Ashwin not bagging as many with the amount of turn he got. Nevertheless, Zampa accounted for Yuvraj, Williamson, Moises Henriques, Deepak Hooda and Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Zampa’s five-wicket haul was the 15th overall in the history of IPL. Rising Pune Supergiants’ (RPS) timid start: Rising Pune Supergiants (RPS) stumbled to 20 for 2 at one stage and promoted Ashwin to bat at No. 4. After a slow start, Ashwin recovered and was eventually dismissed for 29 off 25. George Bailey chipped in with a watchful 34 off 40 balls, but their dismissals only increase pressure on Rising Pune Supergiants (RPS).

And they stutter again: Rising Pune Supergiants (RPS) made a poor start. Ajinkya Rahane was out for a duck, and Usman Khawaja was run out for 11. RPS could never really get the momentum in their innings, just like Sunrisers Hyderabad. There were a few contributions in the middle but no one stepping up to take them past the finish line. MS Dhoni hit a 20-ball 30, but it was not enough.
