Karnataka all-rounder Stuart Binny’s selection in the 15-member team for the upcoming ICC World Cup 2015 raised a furore in the social media, with most fans being miffed over the snub given to India’s 2011 World Cup winning hero Yuvraj Singh.
Binny, though has been a consistent performer in the domestic circuit, he also happens to be the son of selector Roger Binny, who too played a crucial role as a bowler when India lifted the World Cup for the first time in 1983. Following the junior Binny’s selection, he has been scorned with numerous memes on social media.
In this one, we see the duo replicating the famous 1975 blockbuster Deewar scene, where Yuvraj in the iconic Amitabh Bachchan style boasts about his achievements and Stuart replies saying I have got something that matters most, ‘my paa’ – suggesting that he made it to the squad because of his selector dad.
