The legacy of the Tendulkar’s continues. Sachin Tendulkar’s son Arjun was seen rolling his arm to English players in the nets session at Lord’s on Wednesday, ahead of the second Ashes Test.

Arjun was admired by England’s assistant coach Paul Farbace for his ability with the ball. Farbace revealed that the 15-year-old left-arm seamer attended the net session as per the request from Neil Burns, one of the most effective England’s coaches.

When Arjun was 11 years old he also practiced with Yuvraj Singh ahead of the Lord’s Test between England and India in 2011. And four years later he seemed to have grown as a cricketer and rightly following his father’s footsteps. As a teen prodigy he has drawn attention of many coaches and cricketers.

Fabrice was quoted in Deccan Chronicle as saying, “Arjun bowled very nicely in the nets to the England team. He swung the ball in to the right-handers and away from the left-handers. He has good control and bowled very well.”
