Cricket fraternity hail Sunrisers Hyderabad’s maiden IPL title triumph

It was a game worthy of a final. Two feisty customers, leaders by example — David Warner and Virat Kohli, tried their level best for their respective teams, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). In the end, SRH had scored eight more runs.

Despite not being on the favourite side, Warner-led SRH clinched victory by beating the favourites RCB at their backyard. RCB’s skipper Kohli and opener Chris Gayle gave an excellent start by adding up 114 runs for first wicket in just 63 balls. It was altogether a brilliant team performance by SRH as they performed in all department, be it batting, bowling or fielding.
