From a brash youth to a doting responsible father, David Warner is the most evolved cricketer, especially as a person. The trophies, medals and the wins mean a lot to sportsmen but this is something that Warner will cherish forever.

Father of two, Warner is among the most active cricketers on social media, especially on Twitter and Instagram. He often shares pictures and his views.

However, it is the pictures of his daughters — Indy Rae and Ivy Mae that he shares the most. When he is not playing, the Australian vice-captain can be seen in his wife and daughters’ company. ALSO READ: David Warner: 14 facts about the brash yet awesome Aussie cricketer

Being a loving daddy, Warner recently got nominated in this year’s Sports Dad of the Year awards and he shared this exciting news by posting a picture of him with his two daughters, who are in Australian cricket team’s jersey.

The award is given by Sportsdads.com.au and winner is decided by the voting system. Warner is the third cricketer to get nominated for this award after Brad Haddin in 2015 and Shane Watson in 2014. If he wins it, he will be the first cricketer to do so. Currently, he is busy playing in Sri Lanka for the five- match ODI series followed by two T20Is.
