India star batsman Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma’s break-up news has been catching trends off late. Ever since the news has surfaced post India’s tour of Australia, there have been speculations going on. Why not? They are among the top celebrity couples. While Anushka has been busy with the shoot of Salman Khan-starrer Sultan, Kohli has been in a sublime form, notching up runs at will.
With every Kohli’s match-winning knock, Anushka Sharma has been a subject of troll for Twitterati all over the country. In fact, she often caught the Twitter trends after being subject to silly jokes. The trend started during India’s loss in the hands of Australia in the ICC World Cup 2015 semi-final and Kohli had expressed his disgust then. Virat Kohli’s heroics against Pakistan at Dhaka makes Anushka Sharma trend on Twitter
While, it is not clear if the couple is back together or not but like a dignified gentleman, Kohli took to Twitter to express his fury over those silly tweets which resurfaced again after he guided India to another memorable win against Australia at Mohali in the ICC World T20 2016 clash.
It was indeed high time for all those stupid jokes and silly comments to stop and Kohli came in support of the actress.
Kohli, on his Instagram post, wrote, “Shame on those people who have been having a go at Anushka for the longest time and connecting every negative thing to her. Shame on those people calling themselves educated. Shame on blaming and making fun of her when she has no control over what I do with my sport. If anything she has only motivated and given me more positivity. This was long time coming. Shame on these people that hide and take a dig. And I don’t need any respect for this post. Have some compassion and respect her. Think of how your sister or girlfriend or wife would feel if someone trolled them and very conveniently rubbished them in public.”

Kohli and Anushka have been the page view earners and eyeball turners right since they have been spoken together. However, it is enough now and while no one has any control over social media, we hope to expect some sanity!
