Sachin Tendulkar’s autobiography Playing It My Way, created a few controversies. Tendulkar in comparison to Sourav Ganguly had a far less controversial stint. Fans or foes, Ganguly’s autobiography is awaited by all. He was once asked when does he plan to come out with his autobiography and Ganguly responded, “When I do [release my autobiography], it will create tremors, large ones, I’m just waiting.”

It seems the wait is over. Brace yourself for the tremors as Sourav Ganguly on Tuesday announced in a press conference that he is writing his autobiography, which will be published by Juggernaut Books. The book, titled A Century is Not Enough, will be co-authored by Gautam Bhattacharya and is expected to hit the stores early next year.  READ MORE: 13 anecdotes that exemplifies Sourav Ganguly as witty, quick-thinking and master of ripostes

A report from SportsKeeda quoted Ganguly as saying, “I am extremely delighted to associate myself with Juggernaut and jointly we expect to deliver a great book.” Publisher Chiki Sarkar said, “Sourav Ganguly is one of India’s greatest captains, and one of the most interesting cricketers we have ever produced. We believe A Century Is Not Enough will become a book that readers – and not just cricket fans – will turn to again and again.”

Apart from being one of the most successful Indian captains and the best ever left-handed batsman from the nation, Ganguly also had his share of controversies. The Greg Chappell-saga will be one of the most anticipated chapters for his followers. Tendulkar had already criticised the Australian great in his book, which created a stir and expect Ganguly’s version to be more explosive. ALSO READ: When Sourav Ganguly sent home-cooked food to Inzamam-ul-Haq
