Narendra Modi took to Twitter to congratulate the Indian team after their four-wicket win over West Indies in their Pool B clash of the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 at WACA on Saturday(ICC Cricket World Cup 2015: Full coverage)

This isn’t the first time Modi has shown interest in the matters of cricket. The Prime Minster, who has earlier served as the head of Gujarat cricket, had earlier wished the World Cup squad the very best prior to the start of the tourney. He went on to personally wish every single team member. Modi even congratulated the Indian cricket team after they started their ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 campaign with a thumping victory against arch-rivals Pakistan by 76 runs.
