Indian added the sixth win to their previous record of five against Pakistan in World Cups with a 76-run victory at Adelaide Oval on Sunday.
India, with this win move up to the first position with two points in the Pool B points table. Virat Kohli’s century along with solid support from Suresh Raina and Shikhar Dhawan helped India score 300.
Batting second, Pakistan collapsed in the middle overs and lost wickets at regular intervals before getting bowled out for 224 from 47 overs. Misbah-ul-Haq’s fine innings of 76 came late for Pakistan as India won the match by 76 runs.
