The 31st match of Super 10 stage in ICC World T20 2016 was played between India and Australia at Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium, Mohali, Chandigarh. Batting first, Australia got off to a good start as openers Usman Khawaja and Aaron Finch put up a partnership of 54 runs. After the first wicket, scoring rate went down and no other batsmen were able to accelerate the run-rate after a quick start. Somehow, Australia managed to put a decent total of 160 runs on the board. In reply, Indian openers once again failed and all burden came on the shoulders of  Virat Kohli, who first had a decent partnership with Yuvraj Singh, and then with skipper MS Dhoni, which scripted India’s win. Unlike most of the matches in this tournament, this was not a low scoring match and ended with many records being broken. Abhishek Kumar presents such interesting statistical highlights from the match.
