Delhi Daredevils (DD) will take on Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the sixth match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2015 at Feroz Shah Kotla stadium in Delhi. This game will mark DD’s first home game and will be RR’s back-to-back away games.

DD in their opening game lost the match by a run to Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the Chidambaram Stadium. Albie Morkel’s resilient efforts went in vain as DD couldn’t cross the mark. With the exception of Morkel, Delhi’s batting show was pretty ordinary.

Their bowling attack did pretty well as Nathan Coulter-Nile was their star with the ball, picking up three wickets for 30 runs. Imran Tahir, Dominic Joseph and Amit Mishra bowled economical spells, which restricted CSK to 150.

RR on the other hand, cruised past Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) by 26 runs at Pune. The Royals had a poor top order batting performance but then debutant Deepak Hooda and Australian premium all-rounder James Faulkner saved the team. Their effort took RR to a total of 162, which became challenging for their counterparts.

In the bowling department, Tim Southee and Faulkner bowled very well. Pravin Tambe again was a difficult bowler to play. The team’s fielding was exceptional with Southee and Karun Nair combining at the boundary ropes to take marvellous catch, which gave marching orders to George Bailey.

The DD-RR encounter promises to be exciting with both teams evenly matched. While RR have proceeded with the same XI, DD have made three changes. Last match’s star Morkel makes way for Sri Lankan skipper Angelo Mathews, and also comes in – Manoj Tiwary and Jaydev Unadkat. Criclife presents you with the pick of the tweets.
