Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) find themselves at a comfortable position. They already have 16 points in their kitty and a win from either of the two games will ensure that they end up at the top two spot. For Delhi Daredevils (DD), it is not a joy ride. They need to win both their games and they have slumped at the wrong time of the season. Perhaps too much experimentation has hampered DD’s run, who desperately look for survival and the scary part is their batting does not look settled yet. Now they will play in their new home at Raipur and it will be interesting to see what combination they go ahead tonight. For the David Warner-led SRH side, the season has been good but they suffered a blow at the wrong time with the injury to Ashish Nehra. Apart from the Warner show at the top, SRH’s key strength has been their pace attack comprising Mustafizur Rahman, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Nehra. Nehra has been one of the pillars of the attack and with him being ruled out for the remainder of season; Brainder Sran will have big boots to fill.
Toss: DD won the toss and elected to bowl first.
Brilliant by Karun Nayar. Fine strokes & strong nerves produce among best knocks this year. Suspense about which teams in play-offs grows!
