Last week South African cricketer Jean-Paul Duminy launched his JP21 Project, a cricketing initiative which aims to get young kids of Mitchells Plain, a town in Cape Town off the streets and get onto the cricket fields and play cricket. Duminy shot and launched a video of the initiative to explain the work he will do to help the kids in the town.

The video explains the need for such project as it shows about a kid studying in school. It talks about that once the school is over, the kid have little to do to keep himself occupied. The streets are full of alcoholics, drug addicts and widespread gangsterism which affects the daily life of the kids.

But through the JP21 project, the community is going to change the life of the kids. They are going to provide the quick needs to the young kids to play cricket. It will give the kids of South Africa an after school activity to focus and a chance to realize their dreams. The projects aims that every child have a better life because they deserve it. The JP21 project currently has 44 primary schools on their database with a total of over 1,000 scholars involved.
