South Africa born England cricketer Kevin Pietersen, who had been waiting for last 16 years to take a swipe at Gulam Bodi, has finally lashed out on him at the social media platform Twitter. Bodi was recently banned from cricket for 20 years by Cricket South Africa (CSA).
Pietersen apparently had to take the decision of moving out of the country of his birth due to the racial quota system that was in place. He fell victim to the system when he failed to make the cut to the provincial side while Bodi made it due to his coloured ancestry. The same Bodi, who was the beneficiary of CSA’s policies, repaid the board by getting indulged in match fixing.
A hurt Pietersen, in a reply to one of the tweets by a netizen, posted his disappointment in the following words: “Been wanting to say this publicly for 16yrs, so gonna say it now – BODI YOU”

After serving England for long, Pietersen is an outcast at the moment, with his team no more needing his services. He has turned into a Twenty20 (T20) mercenary and is scoring heavily in the T20 leagues around the world.
