Kevin Pietersen to be a part of BBC’s World Cup radio coverage

England cricketer Kevin Pietersen will be a part of the BBC radio coverage of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015, which begins on February 14.

The sacked batsman will feature on the Test Match Special programme from the quarter-finals onwards. Pietersen, who played for the Melbourne Stars at the Big Bash League, was also seen commentating during the tournament.

As reported by MiD-Day, Pietersen was quoted as saying, “I’m really looking forward to working with the Test Match Special team at the World Cup. I really enjoyed having a go at some commentary during the Big Bash and it will be good to return to Australia for the climax of what should be a really exciting tournament.”

Pietersen also confirmed that he will play for St. Lucia Zouka in the 2015 Caribbean Premier League T20.
