The eighth match of the ICC World Twenty20 (T20) 2016 Qualifier is going to be played between Bangladesh and Ireland at Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) Stadium, Dharamsala. There has been continuous rain going on at the venue and the match is most likely to be abandoned but even if it starts then it is going to be a do or die match for Ireland as they have already lost one match against Oman.
At the same venue, Bangladesh registered their victory of the tournament against Netherlands with their all-round performance. If the match is abandoned then Ireland will probably lose the chance to qualify to super 10 stage. Whereas Bangladesh team looks much stronger than Ireland on paper with Tamim Iqbal and their skipper Mashrafe Mortaza being in form.
