Australian skipper Michael Clarke, on Wednesday revealed that he and his wife are expecting their first child together.

Australian skipper Michael Clarke, on Wednesday revealed that he and his wife are expecting their first child together. Kyly is a model and presenter by profession and the couple have been happily married for three years.

They took it to the social media to express their glee. Clarke on his official Twitter account posted a picture of him and his wife and wrote, “@KylyClarke and I are extremely ecstatic to announce we are expecting our first child.”

Clarke has been phenomenal as a captain as his team emerged victorious in the 2015 World Cup. This good news might probably bolster his confidence ahead of The Ashes which commences today. At present, Australia are the owners of the urn as they whitewashed England Down Under in 2013/14 Ashes and will be looking forward to replicate the same in England as they have not won an away Ashes series in last 14 years.
