Australian fast bowler Mitchell Johnson, who has taken 13 wickets so far in the ongoing Test series, is doubtful for the fourth Test against India in Sydney. India and Australia will face off in the final Test at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG), starting Tuesday.

Johnson’s absence will be a big blow to Australia as he is their spearhead bowler. As reported by Cricketcountry.com, the 33-year-old picked a niggle in the hamstring on Saturday morning. The ongoing series has seen some intense moments between Johnson and the now Indian captain Virat Kohli.

Johnson was also absent as the Australia squad assembled for the now traditional ‘Baggy Pink’ photo shoot at the SCG, along with former cricketer Glenn McGrath.

Mitchell Starc or Peter Siddle may be recalled if Johnson misses out, but there is also another possibility of spinner Ashton Agar playing as the track at Sydney is known to support spinners.
