Mohammad Azharuddin gets married for the third time

After a lot of thought over the identity of the woman, Azhar revealed that she was his wife Shannon.

According to a report in Maharashtra Times, former Indian captain Mohammad Azharuddin has tied the nuptial knot for the third time with an American citizen. Azharuddin was first married to Naureen and then actress Sangeeta Bijlani and now he has married Shannon Marie.

The new couple had allegedly been friends for almost a couple of years since 2013. They were first spotted in Paris but Shannon said that the two were just friends. In September this year, Azharuddin’s driver Jaan Mohammad expired due to an accident. Azhar paid a visit to his driver’s family in Shamli on Saturday to offer some condolences. Maharashtra Times reported that Shannon was with him but was difficult to  recognise her as she was wearing a burqa.

After a lot of thought over the identity of the woman in burqa, Azhar revealed that she was his wife Shannon. Azhar’s cricketing career could have been different had he not been banned from cricket for being found guilty for match fixing in 2000. The ban was lifted in 2012 but azhar’s playing days were well and truly over by then.
