Australian cricket team’s vice-captain David Warner and his wife Candice make for the coolest parents in contemporary cricket. Proud parents to two lovely daughters, the couple often shares their kids’ pictures through their official social media accounts. Candice makes it a point to join Warner on as many overseas tours as possible while Warner ensures he spends quality time with the three ladies of his life after his cricketing assignments. He is a complete family man, and this facet of the swashbuckling opener’s personality has been in fact even acknowledged as he was crowned the ‘Sports Dad of the Year’ for the year 2016.
A recent report published in mid-day has revealed that the couple is now planning to have more kids. The news came out after Candice made a visit to a TV show and said a son would be welcome as they plan to have more kids. Speaking to Larry Edmur and Kylie Gillies on The Morning Show, the former Ironwoman revealed the same when asked about how her husband dealt with the contrast of having all-male teammates and an all-female household. Candice said, “We’re definitely looking at having more kids and I think if it was another girl, he would not mind. But a boy would also be very nice.”
This surely makes for an interesting piece of news. The Sydney-based couple already has two wonderful daughters — Ivy Mae (2) and 18-month-old Indi Rae. Candice (31) and David (30) got married in a private ceremony in 2015. While the lady continues to look after the kids at home, Warner is currently partaking in the third Test against South Africa at Adelaide.
