The Rio Olympics 2016 games is nearing conclusion now. With only a couple of days left, eyes of 1.3 billion Indians are trained at a certain PV Sindhu. The 21-year old shuttler created history on Thursday evening when she beat World No. 6 player in the semi-final of women’s badminton singles category and ensured at least a Silver medal for India.
And on Friday, Sindhu will take the court to stretch her dream run when she takes on World No. 1 Carolina Marin from Spain in the final. The match, which will start at 19:30 IST, will be one of the most watched matches in the history of Indian sports as entire India will support its favourite daughter and back her to win glory by winning the Gold.
The match will also be followed with keen interest on social media space, as millions will take to Twitter to express their support to Sindhu. In this presentation, we shall bring to you the pick of the tweets and Live feeds as Sindhu begins her hunt for the gold.
