Asking your ladylove the marriage question is perhaps the toughest job but Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma made it look as easy as his batting. The Indian opener brought out the true romantic side in him and asked out his girlfriend of six years, Rikita Sajdeh at Borivili Sports Club – a place where it all began for Rohit.
According to a report from DNA, on April 28, Rohit drove Ritika to Borivli Sports Club and minutes after midnight, surprised her by pulling out the beautiful solitaire ring and uttered the magic words, “Will you marry me?” It was at Borivili Sports Club, where it all began for Rohit as an 11-year old and today he is one of the top players in world cricket, the one who holds the record for the highest One-Day International score.
The stylish opener took to his official Twitter account to spread the good news saying,” From best friends to soulmates, couldn’t get any better.”

Ritika within few minutes replied to his tweet saying,” I heart you.”

The 28-year old Ritika is from Cuffe Parade and is a sports manager. With six years of romantic relationship, the couple have now thought of taking the love to the next level with Ritika promising to be present in every game which involves Rohit.
On April 30, the MI skipper celebrated his 28th birthday and received a perfect gift post birthday when MI defeated Rajasthan Royals (RR) at Wankhede Stadium on Friday.
The Indian dressing room lost a bachelor when Suresh Raina tied the knot with childhood friend Priyanka Chaudhary on April 4. But now it looks likely the dressing room will be one bachelor less after Rohit got engaged to Ritika, after six long years of relationship.
