Sachin Tendulkar lashes out at bias in team selection

Before the 1997 tour to West Indies, Tendulkar had led the team to a forgettable tour of South Africa. Tendulkar explains in his autobiography, ‘Playing It My Way’ that he wanted Abey Kuruvilla in the team. The Mumbai pacer had made his debut in 1991 and Tendulkar believed he would have made a difference.
