Ajit Tendulkar is the elder brother of legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar. Ajit has played an important in shaping up Tendulkar’s career especially during his budding days. Ajit was the man who took an initiative and got Tendulkar trained under the watchful eyes of Ramakant Achrekar. Even in his last Test, Tendulkar discussed technical aspects of his batting with Ajit.
Ajit will now be training youngsters United Arab Emirates (UAE) youngsters by becoming a trainer at Ajman Cricket Club. This step will help the budding talents of UAE to enhance their cricketing skills as Ajit is known for talent empowerment.
A press release mentioned, “He has signed an agreement with Dubai-based diversified business conglomerate Khushi Group to partner with Ajman Cricket Club, which is setting up a cricket academy where Ajit Tendulkar will train youngsters.”
As reported by Khaleej Times, Ajit said, “I am happy to partner with Khushi Group and Ajman Cricket Club which is developing a cricket academy and that will allow me to lend my expertise and share my insights into the game to help train local talents.”
On Ajit’s appointment, Shaikh Mohammed Sharif, the chairman of Khushi Group said, “The agreement between Khushi Group and Ajit Tendulkar will see the development of a world-class cricket academy and training facility that will help promote cricket and develop domestic cricket in the UAE.”
