
Former Indian cricketer Sanjay Bangar has been appointed as the head coach of the Indian national team for their tour of Zimbabwe 2016. Abhay Sharma has also been named as their fielding coach. Bangar is currently the coach of the Kings XI Punjab in the ongoing Indian Premier League and have had a terrible time as his team finished last in the points table. Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) secretary Ajay shirke stated, “Sanjay Bangar has been appointed as the head coach of the Indian cricket team for the forthcoming tour to Zimbabwe, comprising three One-Day International matches and three T20 international matches to be played in Harare. Abhay Sharma has been appointed as the fielding coach of the team.
