Shahid Afridi funds construction of hospital in his hometown

The all-rounder funded Rs 16 million for the construction and will soon be inaugurated by him.

Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Afridi has funded for the construction of a hospital in his home town in Tangi Banda. The all-rounder funded Rs 16 million for the construction and will soon be inaugurated by him.

Shaid’s uncle, Sahibzada Fazle Khali told The Dawn that the hospital will provide treatment and medicines for poor people free of cost. Shahid’s uncle added that the purchase of medicines and machines have already been completed while the hiring of doctors will be done soon.

He also added that the all-rounder had funded Rs 10 million for the improvement of roads in his village back in 2001.
