Six-year old boy dies after being struck on chest while playing cricket

Not just a week has passed since the tragic death of young Bengal cricketer Ankit Keshri, who passed away following a collision while taking a catch, T Vamshi Krishna, a six-year old boy died while playing cricket when he was hit by a ball in the chest near his house in Sahara Estate in Vanasthalipuram, Hyderabad.

According to a report from IANS, the police said Vamshi was playing with other children in the neighbourhood on Thursday evening and was hit on the chest by a powerful shot.

Being hit on the chest, the six-year old boy immediately collapsed to the ground and was taken to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to the injury while treatment.

Vamshi’s parents blamed a 14-year old, complaining to the police about his negligence that caused the invaluable loss.
