It has been a while since MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai saw Twenty20 (T20) action. Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) kick-starts on Wednesday with Tuti Patriots taking on Chepauk Super Gillies in the inaugural match. India cricketer Dinesh Karthik leads the Patriots side. He is a part of the India Blue in Duleep Trophy but since they are starting their campaign next week, Karthik is available for the opener.
Though his side will be missing out Abhinav Mukund, they have players like Yo Mahesh in their ranks. The Super Gillies will be led by R Satish.
