Video: Can Ishan Kishan replicate Virat Kohli’s triumph in 2008?

The ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup is a tournament of youngsters, which produces many  future stars for every participating team. Be it Virat Kohli, Ravindra Jadeja, Corey Anderson, Kane Williamson or any other player, they have performed well in this tournament have  emerged as big player for the national team.

Similarly, the current India Under-19 team is lead by young Ishan Kishan who hails from the state of Jharkhand, where India’s most successful captain MS Dhoni also originates. So far, India has won all their matches in group stage quite convincingly and are looking forward to quarter-finals stage. Ishan is well supported by players like Sarfaraz Khan, Rishab Pant and Avesh Khan, who are currently the top scorer and most wicket-taker for the team.

It’s a great achievement for any player to represent the national side and Ishan also feels the same.
