India is a fascinating country with great diversity. What makes her even more beautiful is the unity in diversity. However, when it comes to unifying the nation or bringing all of it on one common page, there is no better thing than cricket. The sport, which is country’s most popular one, is a great leveller.
For the same reason, the cricketers enjoy massive popularity amongst the masses. The love and admiration they receive from the fans is simply unparalleled. They do give it back to the fans not only by performing on the field and entertaining them, but also by wishing them on special occasions and becoming a part of their festivities. On the occasion of India’s Republic Day on Tuesday, many cricketers wished the nation. However, the special wish that stood apart was of iconic player Sachin Tendulkar. The master blaster took time to send a special wish in the form of a video message to his fellow brethren! He took to his official Facebook page to post the following video with an accompanying message that read: “Best Wishes on our #RepublicDay.. Jai Hind!”
