India’s star batsman Virat Kohli is not just a sensation when he is on the field but also off it. Not because of his big cricketing appearance but also because of his contribution towards society. His foundation — Virat Kohli Foundation has recently joined hands with Abhishek Bachchan’s “Playing for Humanity’ to organise a charity football match.
This match will feature Indian captain MS Dhoni along with Zaheer Khan, Harbhajan Singh, Yuvraj Singh, Ajinkya Rahane and Ravichandran Ashwin. Apart from Indian cricketers, Bollywood actors Abhishek Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapoor and Shoojit Sircar.
Kohli will be leading his side All Heart Football Club while Bachchan will be captaining All Stars Football Club. This football match is called as Celebrity Classico 2016 and will be held at Mumbai Football Arena. The objective of this match is to generate funds for the foundations’ charitable initiatives. Ahead of this charity football match, Kohli along with other stars launched jersey of both the teams.
