The penultimate match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is underway with Gujarat Lions (GL) taking on Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the Second Qualifier at Delhi.
After winning the toss, SRH skipper David Warner invited GL to bat and their bowlers started well, reducing GL to 83 for 5. Aaron Finch played a good knock to take the side to 162. But SRH saw a moment of brilliance in the 14th over when Ben Cutting defied the law of the gravity to save five crucial runs for his side.
Finch struck one hard and mistimed but it had the distance to clear the Kotla boundaries. Cutting at the mid-wicket boundary, leapt, stretching himself to full, to seize the ball aerial. In the air, he was outside the ropes, but showing great presence of mind and skills, threw the ball inside and saved five runs for his team. This has to be one of the greatest pieces of fielding ever seen.
