Ninth season of the Twenty20 (T20) extravaganza Indian Premier League (IPL), which has entered into its second week, has already created a few memorable moments for the fans. From Mustafizur Rahman’s sensational Yorker to Andre Russell to Russell and Piyush Chawla’s relay catch, fans have accepted everything with open arms. On Sunday, fans witnessed another such moment in the IPL.
When the Delhi Daredevils (DD) arrived in Bengaluru to take on Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), the two old India and RCB team-mates Zaheer Khan and Virat Kohli were united at the toss, as they both were captaining DD and RCB respectively. And when Ravi Shastri, India’s current team director, asked Zaheer why he opted to bowl first after winning the toss, ‘Zak’ came back with a gem.
