Starting with the tour of West Indies next month, Team India led by Virat Kohli have a long and hectic season coming up for them. New coach Anil Kumble will join the side soon as the team begins its bid to reach the No.1 spot in Test rankings. BCCI announced the schedule for three Tests and five ODIs on Tuesday. The New Zealand tour will see the venue of Indore host their first-ever Test.
Many from the Indian cricket contingent welcomed the schedule on Twitter with their posts. The heavy season gives them a chance to vie for the top spot and what better than to achieve all of it at home. India love playing at home. Don’t they?
