Indian captain Virat Kohli scored his 10th Test ton during the third day of the fourth Test between India and Australia at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG). In doing so the 26-year-old became the first captain to score three consecutive hundreds in his first three innings as a Test captain.

Kohli continued his brilliant form Down Under, as he became the second Indian after Rahul Dravid to score over 500 runs in Australia. He also suprassed Dravid’s record tally of 619 runs, that he scored in the 2003-04 Border Gavaskar Trophy. Kohli added 141 for the third wicket with opener KL Rahul, who too scored his maiden international hundred earlier in the day. Kohli was dropped by his Australian counterpart at the second slip.
