Indian Test skipper Virat Kohli enjoys massive fan following for a reason, he’s one of the most active cricketer on social media and keeps a close eye on current affairs and other sports.

German tennis player Angelique Kerber won her maiden Grand Slam title on Saturday as she won the thrilling encounter against Serena Williams. Kohli on this occasion took to his Twitter handle to convey his best wishes and congratulate the winner by writing, “Congratulations@AngeliqueKerber for winning the australian open. Officially my favourite womens tennis player. What a fighter”

Kohli has been a keen follower of tennis and also co-owns a team in the International Premier Tennis League (IPTL). Recently he along with teammate Yuvraj Singh was seen witnessing the semi-final of the Australian Open 2016 between Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic.

Kohli has been in tremendous form in the ongoing series against Australia, India have won the first two games of the three-match Twenty20 International (T20I) series. The ultimate clash of the series will be played on Sunday at Sydney and Kohli once again will be the man to watch out for.
