Yuvraj Singh takes a witty jab at media, asks them to share his wedding date

his is when the media speculations regarding flamboyant cricketer Yuvraj Singh’s wedding started doing the rounds. But what triggered them?

The wedding season has just begun in India and some cricketers have either taken the plunge or are ready to get hitched very soon. Off-spinner Harbhajan Singh recently got married to his long-time girl friend and Bollywood actress Geeta Basra in a star studded ceremony. Star opener Rohit Sharma too announced that he will marry his fiancée Ritika Sajdeh on December 13 this year. This is when the media speculations regarding flamboyant cricketer Yuvraj Singh’s wedding started doing the rounds. But what triggered them?

Well it all started when Yuvraj posted a funny tweet asking Harbhajan not to bowl a ‘doosra’ since he’s married now. This was a witty take on his marital status, implying he must not behave like bachelors anymore. Harbhajan replied in the same manner asking Yuvraj to get married now, to which the southpaw replied by hinting at post-diwali wedding.

This is when the media started speculating about Yuvraj getting married to his possible girlfriend Hazel Keech. But Yuvraj has put an end of sorts to all such rumours with his latest tweet. He wrote:

So now my dear media has decided the venue and month of my marriage can u also tell me the dates so I can get ready well in time !  — yuvraj singh (@YUVSTRONG12) November 4, 2015

Wonder what the truth is, as only time will tell what’s in store for the dashing batsman. But his fans would definitely love to see him settle down in the near future.
