Cameroon take on Croatia in a FIFA World Cup 2014 Group A match at Manaus. This is the second match in Group A after Brazil and Mexico played out an entertaining 0-0 in draw on June 17. Both Cameroon and Croatia lost their respective first matches in the group. A victory for either could bring them back in contention to qualify for the FIFA World Cup 2014 Round of 16 stages.
African team Cameroon lost 1-0 to Mexico in their first match in the FIFA World Cup 2014. Croatia lost 3-1 in a brilliant opening match of the 20th edition of the FIFA World Cup. Brazil and Mexico’s draw has allowed both Cameroon and Croatia to get back into the group. A loss will knock either of the teams out of the tournament.

The FIFA World Cup 2014 will run for a month as the final is on July 13 in Rio de Janeiro. A total of 32 teams will participate in the tournament. There will be eight groups [Group A to Group H] with four teams each. All the teams will play three matches each in the group stage.
A win is worth three points, while a draw will gain one point and a loss means no points will be added. The top two teams will qualify for the Round of 16s. From there the winners will progress to the quarter-finals, then the semi-finals and the last two victorious teams will play in the final.
