Zimbabwe’s chances of winning the series in Bangladesh have taken a dent with pace bowler Tendai Chatara ruled out of the ongoing Test in Mirpur with a muscle strain.

Chatara, who took three wickets in the win at Sylhet, was stretchered off the field on day two of the second Test with a leg injury, and subsequent examinations by the Zimbabwe team physio revealed a suspected grade two muscle strain.

Chatara’s 23rd over was completed by Donald Tiripano. At the time of publishing, Bangladesh had crossed 400 for the loss of seven wickets with Mushfiqur Rahim on 157.
