South African batsmen, Faf du Plessis and skipper, AB de Villiers brought up the 50-run stand for the third wicket in their chase against India in match 13 of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) in Melbourne on Sunday. De Villiers contributed 24 while du Plessis contributed 26 in the stand. Currently, South Africa are 97 for the loss of two wickets in 21 overs, with Faf du Plessis batting on 34 and skipper, AB de Villiers is on 29. Earlier, India won the toss and elected to field first, as they field an unchanged squad form the previous game against Pakistan at Adelaide, which they won by 76 runs for the record sixth time in the mega event.
