Afghanistan and United Arab Emirates (UAE) play in the Asian Cricket Council Premier League at Kuala Lumpur on May 2, 2014. Afghanistan made a brilliant start in the ACC Premier League with a six-wicket win against Hong Kong on May 1. UAE too began with a win as they beat Nepal by four wickets. Confidence will be running high ahead of the match. This is Match 4 of the ACC Premier League 2014.

The ACC Premier League is a six-team tournament. The six teams playing in the competition are Afghanistan, UAE, Nepal, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Oman. Afghanistan will be the favourites to win the tournament after having impressed in the Asia Cup 2014 and ICC World T20 2014. Nepal and UAE too participated in the latter event and exceeded expectations. Oman and Malaysia are the minnows in the ACC Premier League 2014.
