Alzarri Joseph urges West Indies to retain U-19 World Cup

Alzarri Joseph played a major role in West Indies victory in U-19 World Cup 2016. He took India’s first three wickets in the final reducing them to 27 for 3. However, he recollects his bowling figure against Zimbabwe, 4 for 30 to be his best memories of the World Cup.

Joseph who received his Test cap on August 9, 2016 against India believes the U-19 World cup to be a good platform for the youngsters as they can make a career from it. He had encouraged the West Indian players to play hard and try their best to retain the World Cup.

Joseph clocked in excess of 140 kph in the U-19 World Cup. He made his international debut less than six months after the World Cup triumph.
